Meeting GSMBC course standards signifies that a mountain bike coach has demonstrated fundamental competency in customer experience, coaching, and riding skills. Retesting is an opportunity for growth, allowing each individual to progress at their own pace based on skills, experience, and personality.

GENERAL INFO AND TIPS FOR SUCCESS!
TIMELINE - All retests must be completed within 2yrs of taking the course.
ALL TEACHING RETESTS TAKE PLACE IN PERSON DURING A COURSE.
ALL RIDING RETESTS ARE CONDUCTED REMOTELY VIA THE SPORTSENSE COACHING APP, SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY WHILE HELPING YOU TO COMPLETE YOUR CERTIFICATION JOURNEY!

ALL RETESTS ARE $119 + tax
Take your time, be patient and make sure you practice before trying for your retest! Remember, purposeful practice makes progress! Take the feedback from your previous course seriously, ensure you self reflect and ask a friend to film you teach or ride, so you can self analyze more effectively and make the necessary changes.
For coaches currently in the process of retesting with PMBIA, GSMBC offers an alternative option. If you choose, you can retest with GSMBC and continue your journey seamlessly at the same stage. We support coaches in every step of their development, no matter where their journey begins.
Level 1 TEACH RETEST
Level 1 Coaches must attend the second day of the 3 day Intermediate Coach Course.
Level 2 TEACH RETEST
Advanced Coach - FLOW: For those coaches who did not meet the teaching requirements on this course, they need to attend day 2 of the course to retest.
Advanced Coach - TECH: For those coaches who did not meet the teaching requirements on this course, they need to attend day 2 of the course to retest.
Level 3 TEACH RETEST
Advanced Coach - FLOW: For those coaches who did not meet the teaching requirements on this course, they need to attend day 2 of the course to retest.
Advanced Coach - TECH: For those coaches who did not meet the teaching requirements on this course, they need to attend day 2 of the course to retest.
Level 4 TEACH RETEST
Level 4 Coaches must attend the 2-day Coaching Expert Prep course to retest the riding and coaching skill components of the Expert Coach course.
