Membership is open to all certified mountain bike coaches and instructors with a valid certification from the last 5 years. If you’ve trained through another organization—such as PMBIA—you’re welcome to join and build on your existing skills through GSMBC’s world-class resources.

Why? We believe great coaching begins with real-world education—assessment and mentorship from senior coaches on the trails and in actual lesson scenarios. These foundational skills and knowledge enable GSMBC to maintain and evolve industry standards for online coach education, ensuring a coaches are ready to benefit from the education resources available within the memberships
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAIN & EVOLVE MEMBERSHIP ACCESS
Certification must be specific to teaching skills to recreational riders on beginner–intermediate terrain.
Include at least 1 day of on-bike training: examples include the GSMBC Apprentice Coach Course or PMBIA Ride Guide Module
Be issued within the last 5 years by a recognized instructor or coach certification: common examples include national governing bodies of cycling or mountain biking in your home country, or professional certification providers such as PMBIA, BICP or NZOIA.
